Default Exporting gives Windows error

I'm using Premiere 6.5 with a Matrox RTX100 on Windows XP. I've had no troubles at all until now. Suddenly, when I try to export the timeline to a movie, I get the Windows crap error "Adobe Premiere encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience". Has anybody else encountered this problem, and if so, what did it turn out to be?

Any assistance would be gratefully accepted.
