    Default Problem with previewing changes made to video

    I've got Premiere 6.5, and when I apply an effect to a video clip in the timeline, or drag the opacitiy rubber bands for a clip to fade it, nothing changes on the video in the preview window. If anyone could tell me why this is happening I would be very greatfull.
