My sound is distorted after exporting

Hi please can someone help, my head is a mess with this lol.

Ok so as the title says, the sound on my video is distorded after i have exported the video. I'm aware that this may have something to do with using an mp3 file in my project. I have tried converting the audio file to WAV before i export and i still have the same problem.

If anyone thinks they can help i would be extremely grateful.

You have said that you have tried exporting to WAV before - I assume that you converted the mp3 to WAV, and then imported this into the porject and replaced the mp3 in your project with this video?

If you are still having problems, it may be due to the sample rate used within the audio. make sure that the imported audio has the same sample rate as the video export.
