0 Videos nominated Video Of the Month(s): 0 | | 720 24p capture with Premiere CS3
Hi all
I try to capture the footage I shot with JVC GY-HD110 720 24p
but with no success so far. Avid seems not to support the 720 24p
format. I have tried Premiere CS3 using settings advised on
JVC website for Premiere cs2 <http://pro.jvc.com/prof/attributes/inst_man.jsp?model_id=MDL101642&feature_id=11>
but video and audio are not
synchronized.
Anyone could help?
Cheers
Nik

If you chose the right preset cs3 should work just fine, try also to use hdvsplit , it's a free software .

I'm having exactly the same problem using the same camera and also CS3.
The presets on my project are 720P 23.97FPS, but when the import is finished it changes the frame rate in the project to 29.97FPS.
I've tried amending the frame rate using the 'Interpret Footage' tab, but this makes the sound go into slo mo - The picture is fine however.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

In order to exclude some options, please use another software to capture your footage and then we'll see . Use hdvsplit and see how it works and then tell us please .

I know that in canon hv20 when you shoot at 24frames progressive it is stored in tape as 30i and then you have to remove the pulldown, but i don't know about your camera, so it is very weird that it shows yoy 19fps .
I can't really tell, hope someone here knows what the problem is .
