Default Fuzzy Text

I struggled with a similar fuzzy text problem with Premier Pro 1.5 and I found this to be the only solution:

select the footage on the track below your text and add an effect to it - any effect will do. Now adjust the setting of the effect so it does not actually effect the footage (for example turn it down to 0). This seems to sharpen the text on the track above. Don't know why, but it does.

Hope this helps

I can't see the video, just a frame of it when i click on the link and that's all, Did you see the video playing Robing ? or is it just me that can't ?
It says no longer available .
In the frame it looks fuzzy but it's not playing and when playing video looks more smoth so i can't really say .

Try to use anti flicker and see if it works .

RDINS, I'm sorry. The video is listed as private on YouTube 'cause I don't want to release it to the public yet. I didn't realize that would make it impossible for people to see from my website. I don't think I can give you access to the video unless you give me your YouTube account name.

RboinF, Thank you for your suggestion. I found the Effects option and I created some blank title footage in the track below my fuzzy scrolling text. Now, how to get the effect to apply to that blank footage? I tried dragging and dropping an effect into the blank track but that didn't work. Sorry to be so new at this. I appreciate your help!

Susan

Susan
I uploaded a new video that's all fuzzy text. I put it on YouTube as a public video so you should be able to view it. Here's the URL: YouTube - Need video help!!. The title of the video is Need Video Help!!

Thanks for your patience everyone.

Default Fuzzy scrolling text sample

I'm back with a new sample of fuzzy text. This time it's my scrolling resume (cv) at YouTube - Fuzzy scrolling text. It starts with a few seconds of white background, so please be patient.

Please tell how I can clean up this fuzzy text. I used the scrolling credits feature in Adobe Premiere Elements 4.0.

As a professional resume writer, it would seem unprofessional for me to post a text video that is of such poor visual quality. BTW, it looked this fuzzy BEFORE I uploaded it to YouTube, so it's not the YouTube compression that did this.

Thanks for your help!
Susan
