Hi!
I have seen a video here : MYSTICKITEBOARDING.COM and in the first couple of seconds you see a close up view of their company logo which then shines.
My logo is similiar for my own website and I would love to be able to do something simliar for my videos.

Can anyone point me in the direction of a tutorial or give me some advice on how to do this effect.

It can be done with after effects, i have done the same but with text,There are some libraries for adobe after effects that i can't remember now the same but it shoul be something like (shine in motion, partucularies and so on)

and would this include how to zoom in and reveal the logo as you move around it?

Yes, each effect from that library has it owns properties, zoom, moving , and so on that you can keyframe .
