hey there
ive just started using adobe priemer 6 for a college project, my main problem is that it doent display the effect i put into my movie in the preview window, i was wounding if this is a bug and how to fix it or just part of the program.

It won't preview any effect or just one of the effects?
Have you rendered the preview by pressing the Enter key?

no it doesn't preview any effect we have tried all of them, i havent rendered the pictures, ill try that, but could it do that cause it hasn't been registered

No, registration shouldn't have anything to do with the effects working or not. what are your system specs? Processor, RAM, Graphics Memory, ...

the preview does work when you render it
1.9GHz Intel core duo
1Gb memory

That's the thing about Adobe Premier you have to do a new render everytime you place a new effect or transition in the timeline.

Looks like specs for a Laptop, most laptop graphics are not capable of handling programs like Premiere and After Effects. Check to see if the graphics specs meet the Premiere minimum requirements.
