Default How can v cut and move a footage in AE

I recently start work on Adobe Premiere 6.5 and Adobe Premiere Pro 2 and also Using Adobe After effects 6.5 (Using Pro-One Card) from last 2 months....

In these 2 months I learn about some basics and also get dynamic Help
through internet by downloading Video/Text Tutorials about Premiere and
After Effects...

Sir,
My question is " How can v cut and move a footage in AE"?
i mean... by using Chroma Key... v can cut/remove color from the footage in
background.. but in case v hv a footage and v want to cut/remove there background and keep only an Object (in footage which is in moving form) and change the footage background.. How can it possible?

to clear my question i m giving a link

I need ur help in this case and I hope u'll answer me soon..

Thanks

Asfar Haider

Ah, right, you mean without the green screen. Sorry mate, but this will be a lot harder. You can try using motion tracking tools, but if the object's form and things change during the clip (think of a person simply moving/swinging his arms for instance, this will change the form of the object) than it will be almost impossible, you will have to do everything frame by frame in this case I think. Basically you can only use the motion tracking tools when the object's position, size and/or rotation change (when the aspect ratio stays the same I guess).
I reckon you will have to create a mask so that only the object shows through, and you will have to link this to the null object that AE creates after it's done motion tracking.

Another tutorial from the same site about motion tracking:

After Effects Basic Training
