This is no longer an issue, the real issue is below.

Okay, well that problem has seemingly resolved itself somehow, however, now I have a new issue. On the footage I capture, the audio messes up severely. The first few minutes are fine, however, somewhere along the line the audio starts repeating and looping while the correct video continues to play without it's accompanying audio. Its basically like a broken record, the audio. Additionally, some audio is mistplaced as in the wrong audio is suddenly playing over the wrong video. The footage and audio are just fine on the tape, so what could be the cause and how can I fix it?
