Hi All,

I have a video editing machine with an RT.X100 card, ATI Radeon 9200 graphics card and im using Adobe Premiere 6.5.

The problem is everytime i load premiere i get an error message telling me that the Matrox Realtime Plugin could not start.

The machine has worked fine in the past and then out of the blue i get this message.

I have tried the usual unistall and reinstall of Matrox Card and XTools, Graphics card and Premiere but still no joy.

I have attached two screenshots of the errors i receive.

Any help would be much appreciated.

have you got anything running? I'll bet you have.

It's been a while but I;ve seenthis once or twice in the dim distant past. As ther error says, as far as it is concerned it is already running and so can't cut in for your Premiere session.

you'll do much better talking to actualy Matrox support guys at the Matrox support site forums on this but, at a quick guess, you have somthing sending the video overlay to an external monitor or TV already. This might even be Windows media player.

Oh and Premiere 6.5 is very old so do makew sure yo have the correct version of the Matrox tools.

Thanks for you reply. I have nothing else running in windows, i stopped everything through msconfig. regarding matrox tools i have the premier 6.5 version. Once again thanks for your advice.
