Default Premiere Pro Cs3

A question for all the premiere gurus

What the best way to set up premiere in terms of where you have your media, scratch disks and projects. Should they be on separate drives?

Currently I have a drive for media and when I start a new project I create a folder on that drive and capture my footage into that. Should I also save the project file into there or leave it on the default folder that the software uses?

Also what about when you export, should the export save to a different drive to the one where the media is stored?

thanks in advance

I keep my project files and captured video on one drive ie. project folder with captured video and project, then all other scratch media I placed on other drive not as big I use 160gb. then transcoded video I keep on its own drive.
