Default What can I do to record m2t files on HDV Camcorder

Hi

I am capturing HD video from my Sony HDV camcorder into Premiere Pro 1.5. I edit and then select "Export to Tape" under File in order to re-export the edited material back to the camera.

Premiere spends a long time rendering and then stores the result as an M2T file before activating the camera for the record process. I have found that the M2T file in the computer has excellent continuity and integrity when played on Windows Media Player, but very often the equivalent recorded material on the camera has many drop-outs and glitches.

Does anybody know a way of directly re-recording the M2T file to camera without having to repeat again the time consuming rendering process from the Premiere timeline ??.

Would appreciate any guidance please
