Default Help Needed

Hi there
I am using Premiere Elements 3.0 today I recorded a video but I had the Back Light on which has made everything look very very white almost like as if the ground is snow is there a filter that can restore it back to what it should be or at least very close? I have tired a few of the filters in Elements but none of them see to be good enough to do it.

Please help.
Thank You

Was the backlight on during the entire video? You may be able to do something with the Levels settings but highlights may still be burned out and beyond recovery.

Yeah it was on the entire time I was wondering why everything looked so much brighter I though because it was a bright day that was the reason but obviously it wasnt.

Also anyone know why AVI files go out of synch in elements?

If it anything like digital photography, once it is overexposed to white there is no going back. If it is dark you can usually lighten it up.

How did you copy the .avi files to the computer, was it using USB or Firewire? What is the spec of your computer?
