Default Timeline Timecode

Guys,

How can I insert timecode onto my timeline, so I can make windowdubs, but make it read timeline timecode instead of source timecode or clip timecode?

Thanks

Bump.

I found a way to do it by individually going through and laying the "TIMECODE" video effect on the clips, but I have to manually enter the timecode for each clip where to begin on GENERATE mode???

Theres GOTTA be an easier way. It's taking me 20 minutes just to load unbroken, correct, timeline timecode into a half hour long piece.

any ideas?

Create a new sequence "file" "new" "sequence". Then drag sequence 1 into sequence 2 (assuming you don't rename them) and apply the time code effect to that.

If you don't want it on the full edit, still create a new sequence and copy and paste the section of edits that you do want it applied to into sequence 2, then delete the edits from sequence 1 and replace them by putting sequence 2 in their position and apply the time code effect to that.

David.
