Default exporting to dvd always deinterlace

Dear all,

I am using pro 2.0 my source is dv avi
whenever i export to dvd the resulting video is deinterlaced on fast camera motion, i use these settings(deinterlace, 720x480i, 7000cbr, Bottom Field First)
However i tried different settings like (interlace, progressive....) or lower field first but can't seem to get any better result
please can i repair this ?

To me that looks like a focus issue, And theres not much you can do with it. Someone else might have an idea.

hmmm. try taking off deinterlace in the export settings, and in the timeline experiment with the clips, right click a clip and go to field order (i think thats it) and try different settings there, for me when i was using .avi and burning it to a dvd, i would export the finished project as an avi file with only the speed changed clips deinterlaced, then import that to encor and it will convert it to a dvd file (mpeg-dvd), you can do this in premiere, but i prefer encore to do it automatically.

not sure if thats the answer you were looking for but i tried

For a DVD you want the signal interlaced so do not deinterlace during export. I detect NTSC settings in your post. I suggest you start by choosing a standard NTSC export template and just run with that without changing anything. Once youget there then start tweaking things as you want them. But if it's a DVD you want to play on a regular TV then you want it interlaced. It'll look naff on a PC but great on a TV.
