Default Premiere v7 - JVC GR-D31EK

I have a JVC GR-D31EK digital video camera, connected through a DV Raptor Card, using XP professional. The software that comes with the Raptor card picks up the video and I can manipulate the video etc., but Premiere reports that that same camera that works with the Raptor software as offline, and hence, cannot be accessed for anything.

Has anyone got any ideas as to how I can get round this?

Thanks

Colin Townsend.
