I have a 57 minute video that I've exported.
It plays in Premiere but won't play on any other player (Winamp nor Windows Media Player.)
Winamp stalls and Media Player gives me the "invalid format" popup.
Any thoughts?
It seems that any video over around 2 GB gives me this error.
Thanks!

Firstly what OS and what file system (FAT32/16 or NTFS) are you using?
If your using windows xp ensure that you set the file system to NTFS as fat32 has an upper file size limit of 2Gb and fat32 4Gb. To find out what file system your set to right click your hard drive in my computer and select properties.
What are you exporting your movie as?

Hey Tonga,
I'm using Windows XP. My computer is a 2GHz AMD chip with 512mb RAM.
I did what you said and my system is NTFS. How do I change it to fat32? And also, is there any way to make it so that it allows an even bigger file size. Some of my work will require more than a 4GB exportation.
The stuff I'm doing is being burned to DVD to be played on standalone players.
I've been exporting as Microsoft DV AVI (720x480.)
The compressor is Microsoft DV (NTSC) @ 100%.
Shoudl I be using another format that will allow it to be smaller but retain the video quality? The 2 and 4GB caps are quite a pain :P
Thanks!

If you've got NTFS, the filesize limits don't apply. No change necessary there. However, as Tonga says, what are you exporting your movie as?
