Default Indexing Forever in Premiere Pro 2.0

Just got Premiere Pro 2.0 and was capturing from my HV20. All went well until the capture was over and the machine indexed forever. Literally, it indexed for roughly 45 minutes and then never stopped nor conformed the footage. Am I doing something wrong? I have the project settings to edit in HDV, and 60i for the Canon HV20, but it usually never takes this long to index/conform footage.
