Hello fellow forum-goers, I am in a bit of a trouble exporting the video.

It was captured at 1024x786 into a project of the same size, has been edited and exported as a 1024x786 square pixel Mpeg 2 for playback on a monitor at screen resolution.
The resulting file plays nicely on Nero ShowTime and some other players, but Windows Media Player just displays a black screen with no playback slider, and nor error messages in sight.
The problem is, that I need it to play on WMP, and it has to be at that resolution.

Can you suggest any export settings that might make this work?

OK found the solution, all I had to do was switch the aspect ratio to "Standard" and it worked.
