If it's anything like the one that came with my copy of Premiere Pro (1/7) then I suspect all the information you need will be in the manual that came with your copy.

But in general, it's only a point release so not much different to PPRO1.

Tne only (and rather obvious) link I know for 1.5 specific tutorials is http://www.adobe.com/products/tips/premiere.html

Other than that I suspect Google would be your friend.

Not sure if they have 1.5 specific stuff but a very good place for tutorials is http://www.creativecow.net

I'll be on the scrounge for all the 1.5 hints/tips/tutorials too when I get my freebie upgrade

What's really needed here is the 'Premiere Pro' equivalent of the Photoshop "Down and Dirty Tricks" books. Anyone read (or got) any of those? Totally excellent! Step by step recipes and worked examples of how to achieve the look of all thsoe advertising effects we see day in and day out without noticing them.

If anyone knows of a book like this for Premiere I'd like to know of it.

Plenty of "To do X you click Y" type books out there but I haven't found one that explains the circumstances you should consider performing X in your video. If that makes sense. Same goes for Audition. For example, I now know how to apply some 'reverb' but what the hell is reverb and why would I want to apply it?
