OK. I've asked twice now for a project. Also, other questions have gone un-answered. I can't help anymore unless you provide the information asked for. Posting a clip showing the problem is interesting perhaps but not actually very helpful in solving the issue. To help anymore I would need to reproduce the problem locally.

Maybe there's someone else here who's seen this before who can offer some input.

One other thing to watch is the levels of these clips. Depending on how the audio summing bus handles the clips, when you stack several clips together you might end up simply overwhelming the output. Digital clipping is when effectively all the bits in the audio data are '1's. This gives a particularly unpleasant grating sound.

Thing is... In preview mode Premier may handle the audio differently to the way it sums the audio as it renders. (I don't know this, I'm just guessing)

As an experiment pull the level of each clip down 1-2 dB and see if it still happens.

This is where it is actually better to add soundtrack, Foley and stuff using protools or Nuendo or some other DAW that can handle video where you have complete control over the audio.

Oh crap. I'm sorry dude. I've been so frustrated by this that I'm not thinking straight. I thought you wanted me to post a video clip. I didn't realize I could set up an actual project file for you to open. I'll work on that.

Perhaps I should invest in something else to add the soundtrack and other foley work. Elsewise I think that the main problem is the export settings. I am working on trying to find the ideal settings to export this at.

I've turned down the decibels before and it's the only thing that works, unfortunately I also end up having to turn down the treble, etc. until the export doesn't grate the speakers. Problem is, the amount I have to turn things down it becomes difficult to hear the sound at all and that is not good when it is a gun firing.

oh, I got most of my sounds from the freesound project.

Okay I turned down the volume quite a bit on every single audio clip and sound effect. This seems to have worked. Unfortunately a lot of audio quality is gone. Also loud clips stacked on top of each other do seem to be causing massive problems. I've used fade outs and less sound effects to get around this.

Would post a project but it turns out I have no idea how to do that. Maybe when I get my own website.

Okay I fixed it.

Turning down the volume only made the sound effects lamer and lamer as they got less staticy.

Then, at about two in the morning I discovered this page, followed the instructions on exporting audio and now everything is glorious and loud again with no popping!

THanks everyone for putting up with me I was sort of freaking out there.

Exporting your video from Adobe Premiere Pro

(Basically use 41000hz and export the video separate from the audio then combine after.)
