Hello, this is my 1st post here.

I am trying to recreate the music visualization from the Nine Inch Nails "Only" music video.

I was thinking of recording the oscilloscope on Windows Media Player with CamStudio while the song played. That way I get a nice place to start.

I'm pretty novice when it come to premiere. Can I edit the video so there are two identical green scopes playing one on top of the other, like the music videos?

Also is there a way I can make that fading and blurring effect?

you could just fraps the screen of windows media player effects and then crop and place that in your video.
