Default Camera Flash Style Effect in Premiere 6.5?

I've seen this effect (as a plugin) at http://www.buena.com/ee/cameraflash.html and I would like to try and replicate this myself to understand better how it's done. I am especially interested in the second example with the mountains as this appears to become saturated with colour. Does anyone know the combination of effects needed to create this?

Many thanks

James

You can replicate this fx very easily by animating the brightness and contrast of your clip, you can also animate the colour saturation values for added punch. It looks like there is a glow effect added in the footage as well - you can add and animate this as well.

Start by applying the brightness and contrast effect and experiment by animating the values, if you max out the brightness youll get a white screen, as you increase the contrast value the colours will get more vivid. Just experiment.

Thanks Tonga, I will try this out. I hadn't thought of using a glow in there, I was trying with blurs but it didn't produce the right effect. I'm pretty new to Premiere but really enjoy using it, so rewarding when friends comment on the videos produced!

Thanks for your help!
