I am used to Premiere 6.5 for MAC. To aplly an audio effect in a clip I simply dragged the specific effect over the clip which changed because a coloured line was edded to the clip in the timeline. Now I use Premiere Pro for Win as well but I don't understand how to do this there. I cannot get it. Can someone help?

in premier pro the effects are shared in other windows to save space. same thing with motion.... look at the top of either your video bin window or you "cutting and editing before put into timeline" window, and see if you there is a little tab for effects.... there will be. clcik on that, then go to audio effects, and apply it... you can also probably find it up in the command bar.... maybe under like audio or something.
