Hi, I'm trying to import AIFF files to Premiere Elements 1. It says it's a supported audio format, but every time I try and import it, the file appears (as AIFF), but there's no 'data' in it - I can put it on the timeline, but there's no sound wave visible and there's no audio. I can play the files through either itunes or winamp on my computer, so the problem seems to be when I import them. I also don't seem to be able to convert them to anything else - even if it says they're converted to (and playing with) winamp media, elements is still registering them as AIFF and not playing them. Please - any help appreciated.
