Cropping footage in Prem Elements 2

I may be being a bit thick here but can you crop footage in PE2. You can certainly "size" footage IE: reduce or enlarge the entire frame - but I need to cut off half of one side (right) of footage and half of one side of another (left) and splice the two together. Splicing won't be a problem but I need to cut off half of each side of the footage first

Any ideas?
