ok, ive added an MP3 audio file to a photo slideshow.
Im trying to make the photos change in time with the song.
so i set my work area in the timeline at the bottom.

Then i press the RAM review button so i can hear the song then adjust the pictures in the timeline to wherever i want them.

My problem is, the song plays fine if my work area is set to the begining. when i move my work area on a bit, the song still plays fine but its out of sync and playing the wrong part of the song?

For example,
there are 2 bars of music before the vocals come in when i have my work area set to the begining, then when i move the work area to where the vocals start there one more bar of music there and there shouldnt be.

Its like when i move the work area the audio file moves in some way, but ive checked and it stays where it is??

After Effects and MP3 do not play nicely together. Don't know why.

Take your MP3 file and convert to another format (WAV??) and use that in your AE project.
