Thread: Simple speed problem

Hi,
I am editing a movie and when I export it it is all fine, jsut how I like it. However, if I speed up playback, the size of the movie drops (the actual image , not frame size), and the rest of each frame is filled with a black border. I am increasing to 400% and this happns, any ideas?

(oh btw, am using PPro V9 as far as I know )

If I understand this right you are right clicking on a clip in the timeline and setting speed to 400%. When you do this the playback is showing your image a different size? Never heard of this before.

Is the clip in your sequence scaled before the speed was changed. If so then it may just be a simple case of needing to re-render.

PPro was version 2 last year and this year's brand new version (if anyone actually has taken delivery yet) is version CS3. Which one do you have. My guess is v2.

I've tried and tried to correct the syntax in my previous post but our damn direwall at work won't let the 'edit' go through. I can add new posts all day long but can't seem to edit them. curious. Can someone else tweak the 'quote' syntax for me please?
