Hi - please can someone help me to get a text effect I need for an Age Concern video I'm making. I would like the text to appear one letter at a time as if it's jumping on to the page.
I'm sure there's a simple solution. I've been messing around with the roll/crawl options on the title designed but can't find a way of manipulating titles one letter at a time.
I'm using Premier Pro 1.5
thanks a lot

I don't do much work with titles, so when I do my methods aren't the most direct. Here's what I would do if I was restricted to premiere and wanted to do it.
I'd make a separate title for each individual letter and manipulate them separatelly with keyframes and their layers motion controls.
Some of the guys doing advanced text animation in after effects would probably cringe (and rightly so) but it would work.
David.

Hi David - thanks for your reply. Yes I'm sure it would be much easier on after effects but I don't have it. I'll go with your suggestion and maybe keyframe words rather than text individualy or I'll be at it all week!!
Thanks again.
