Default Adding a video codec?

Is it possible to add a video codec to Premier Pro? If so how is it done?

You don't add it to Premiere - you add it to Windows. It will then be picked up by Premiere for use in exporting your movie.

Codecs such as Divx and Xvid come with their own installation programs. Install them, then open Premiere.

This is a good site to read about codecs:

Thanks for the response. I wasn't sure if that was the case or not. I guess the questions should have been how do you get Premier to recognize a CODEC? I recently installed the MSU Lossles CODEC and it shows up in CamStudio and Blender but not Premier Pro.
