Default cc particle world

Does anyone know if I can make my own shapes for particles in the cc particle world plug-in for after effects?

If so it would be apreciated to hear how to do so.

David.

hmmm, i recall seeing a tutorial on www.graymachine.com which details how to make some basic text start of as clustered and stuck together particles and then explode and finally come back together. You may not think this will help you but i suggest you take a look at it because it uses trapcode partciular and that is quite similar to particle world (well by what ive seen of both they are) Because this uses particles to resemble the shape of a bit of text then maybe you could use it on a simple block colour shape imported into after effects and then vanish the original image... only a thought, hope it helps:

Thanks, I'll look into it and see.

I'm trying to avoid the amount of work, I believe, I'll need to do to get it going in particle playground, so hopefully it may be a possibility.

David.
