Hello
I was wondering, can anyone help me, I've a DVD I would like to edit
some clips, is there any way that I can use to import it to premiere,
other than converting it to another format?.
Thanks in advance

If it's not copy protected you can drag the .vob files to your hard drive and change the .vob suffix to .mpg - they are actually .mpg files and changing the suffix will allow them to be recognised as such.
This will allow you to import them into Premiere.
However, .mpgs are not designed for editing and can give odd results when edited. So you might be better exporting the .mpgs from Premiere as some form of .avi and then use those .avis to edit.

Most DVD's are built with a Variable Bit Rate: (VBR).. This make the footage non-editable.. There is one way this can be achieved.. You can use Nero recode to recode the DVD into an AVI.. This does not take too long and the footage can then be edited in Premiere pro.. If its just menu you would like to create from a DVD you can use a program called Tsunami Pro... This software allows you to create menus directly with DVD movies and also allows basic tasks such as cutting scenes and some audio manipulation..

Capture the footage from a DVD player into an editable format then import in Premiere Pro to edit then rebuild your DVD.
