0 Videos nominated Video Of the Month(s): 0 | | How to erase something from a video??
I have a shot here as you can see, I just noted though that that Greek flag alters the meaning of that shot, how can I have it removed (without having to climb on the parliament's roof)? Luckily there is a clear sky so I imagine that it would be easy to do (by covering it with blue perhaps?) How do you suggest I do it?
NOTE that this is a video - not a still picture.
I use:
Apple Final Cut Studio 5.1
Apple Shake 4.1
Adobe Photoshop CS2
Adobe After Effects 7
Which can i do this with?

Please, someone enlighten me. I have to have this finished in a couple days, all I'm asking is how to remove that flag from my video.

I take it by your tag you're on FCP, which I know nothing about, but most applications allow a mask to be placed over the object and another (blue) object overlaid to cover the offender. Hope this helps.

try drawing a mask around it using the pen tool in after effects and then add the same video clip underneath to fill the hole caused by the mask but offset it to just 1 side or the other of the original so you only ee the sky rather than the flag. Feather the mask to try and hide the join.

I personally would use the clone tool in After Effects 7 to paint an area of sky over the top of the mast and flag. You'll have to read your manual on specifics.

I have no clue about After Effects, where exactly is this clone tool?
Thanks.

It's a case of RTFM I'm afraid, as I said before.
