Default Editing advice: continue scene after freeze-frame or not?

Please look at this 30 second clip with two types of editing strategies:
YouTube - Demo_Freeze_Frame

When making a video clip freeze a frame, to "capture a moment"... is there a wrong or right as to what to do immediately after the frozen frame... to "unfreeze" the frame and continue the clip, or to have the clip jump to the next scene?

You can see both ways in the clip above.

Thank you.

ok, thanks. Just that I was told that it is not correct to continue the scene. I guess that's just a one man opinion.

yeah just one person opinion.. in my opinion if the shot looks good either way the freeze is done it a case of take your pick.

if it clearly looks bad then its bad.... if yu cant decide then ask

when editing there are certain codes of practice but many are very flexable - if you see what i mean.

Unfreezing the frame and then continuing with the clip works well with titles, in my opinion, using the frozen section to introduce the character/person.
