Can Anyone Help I am A newbie to Adobe video Editing and I am having trouble importing AVI files into Premier 7.0. For some reason it does not recognize the format. is there any settings that I can change that will allow me to do this?

Could you provide some specs for the AVI files?

Compression codec, framerate, dimensions, sound sampling rate.

Also, what project settings are you using in Premiere?
