Default Mother of all sound problems - SOLVED ta.

I have a new development with sound in Premiere. There is no sound playing clips in scene bin, the monitor will not play sound, scrubbing in the timeline, also no sound. BUT if you go to the individual soundtrack (you can see the audio waveform) in the scene bin or timeline and double click to open it up in it's individual audio clip window, sound plays fine.

The sound also play in Windows media player etc, and other sound play.

Please help me....
Ta in advance, Melskius

Have a look at the reply I made to dingo's post. Could be a similar problem.

I had the same problem but it went away after restarting my system. Im sure you tried that already but it wouldnt hurt to shut down then restart one more time.

I had this problem when I first got Premiere. In general project settings change the playback options so that the output plays to desktop as well.

edit: whoops! didn't read the last post. sorry.
