Default PP2: Expanding a split screened video

Hello all, nice forum !

I am a newbie to Premier Pro 2 and I was able to get split screen working and it is a great effect.

Now that I have my cool split screen effect how do I get one of the split screens to expand until it takes up the full screen. I tried making one clip longer, cutting it and then making that full screen but it just instantly becomes full screen like any other edit.

I want to be able to expand (or contract) the split screens collectively or individually and hopefully have some control over the speed of the expansion.

Can anyone point me at a tutorial or tell me where to look in Pro to do this?

Click on the clip that you want to enlarge or reposition, open the effect controls window, here you can keyframe position and scale to get the effect you want. For more info on how to use keyframes go to:
