Nope!

On my installation, Premier Pro creates a directory called "Adobe Premiere Pro Preview Files" in the same place as your project file. In there are the AVI files I mentioned. An example in a project I have is called "Rendered - 6e5fc364-5e37-4490-a0b9-e99d041fde8a.AVI".

Remember to take a copy rather than just import it because you cannot be certain it will be there next time.

Remember, this is NOT AN OFFICIAL WORKFLOW tip. Just somethign I noticed when I was in a hurry one evening and it worked a treat. They may not even be full res copies for all I know. They look ok though.

I seem to have the same under the folder Adobe Premiere Elements Preview Files. They appear to be the sections of video that have been rendered efter adding effects, etc. If you view them as thumbnails you can see the first frame and get an idea of what they are.

Nice one.

Exactly! You will get a seperate file for every 'section' where anythign is different so not always easy to piece together.

As I say, not really recommended but can save a little time for those hurry-up-and-finish-today type jobs.
