Default Device not ready while burning

I have tried to export a DVD using Adobe Premiere Pro v7.0; the message "device not ready" appears after renderingm and then it has been impossible to burn the DVD. My DVD burner is HL-DT.ST DVDRAM GSA-4163B.
How could I solve this problem?
Thanks.
Juan

Is the DVD drive showing up in the Device Manager? I can't remember how the burn to DVD window comes up in Premiere 7 but is the DVD drive showing up there in the list of drives connected to your computer? Are you rendering to temporary files on your hard disc drive inside the computer or some other drive connected to the computer, perhaps an external drive?

Thank you for your help.
When I began to "export to DVD", the DVD burner appears as "ready", so I suppose it is conected to my computer. I am rendering in the hard disk (inside my computer). I have just updated the DVD burner firmware. So I will try again.
