My video height 737 and width 1024, the problem is that after trimming with my adobe after effects pro my video quality is not good and the video doesn't shows the whole screen I mean some part like first it shows the right part and then the left part!! I want the video to show the whole part and also the quality should be good! So plz... tell me that which settings of video do I make, which setting will make my video compress and which codec will make the video of my choice. Thank You! wud be grateful!

That's a very unorthadox video size you have there.
Your composition in AE should normally be the ssaem size as your source video. This is going to be different depending on whether you have a PAL or NTSC camcorder.
Import your footage. Drag it to the new comp button and your new comp will take on the attributes of your source footage.
As to exporting it... well, I often don't as I use Adobe's Dynamic Link to simply include it in my Premiere pro projects but that doesn't really help you does it?
Well, your export settings should be determined by your delivery platform. Pretty much everything I do in AE is going into Premiere for inclusion in a larger project so I would export as DV AVI which is (as good as) lossless so it can be imported into your editor with no discernable loss in quality.

It's at the bottom of the project tab in AE v7. Hover the mouse over each until you see one that says "Create a new composition".
Described on page 135 of the manual
