Default Imported footage upside down and flipped in AE 7 Pro

Hi all,

I'm quite new to using AE 7 Pro but i've had an issue since i started using it a couple of months ago. Everytime i import footage either by copying and pasting from premier pro 2 or dragging into the project folder, it appears upside down and flipped left to right? Has anyone experienced this? If so how do i stop it please?

Many Thanks, Dink

Don't know why it might be happening but you could always rotate your clip by 180 degrees to cure it.

OK. a misunderstanding here. I thought if it was flipped vertically and horizontally then that's the same as a rotation. So if you rotate then the left is on the right eh?

Then all you need do is find the vertical flip effect. I'm sure there is one. If not use a corner pin.

Although thinking about it I'm not sure if this is fixing a sympton or the cause tbh. If you C&P from Premiere and get this and 'fix' it in AE then presumably when it goes back to premiere the porblem starts again?
