| | video/audio out of sync Help! Somehow the video & audio on a clip I captured are out of sync by about a full second. I did nothing to it except capture it that I can recall. I have selected some in/out points for putting on the timeline; that's how I discovered this.

| | I have discovered that my problem is apparently in the project file. It seems that after setting several in/out points to grab bits of the clip to put on the timeline, the video/audio are out of sync. The question is what can I do about it?

| | I have had ths problem before, and the only solution I came up with was to "unattach" the video and audio, which will then let you move the audio along the timeline to line up with the video.

| | I discovered, after closing the project file in disgust, that that was the solution. I went back to it & found the sync problem gone. When it re-emerged a while later, I closed the project file again & immediately reopened it & no problem. It is a minor irratant but does not appear serious.
