Dear Forum,

My question is: How do i create my own sound clips and sound effects for my videos? Is there some software i can use for that? I hope there is something simple i can use out there, without having to take serious lessons in music theory! hehehehe....

sound effects are either best recorded or downloaded. Alternatively you can buy CDs full of them for only a few UK pounds. Practice being a foley artist. It can be fun. i.e. punch a cabage and use the sound in your fight scenes.

Gun shots are tricky because movie gun shots do not really sound like 'real' gunshots.

Sometimes i even cheat and capture the audio from movies (or whatever) on DVD and pull out the sound effects from those. My best gunshots come from doing this.
