Talking i got it

i have risolved the problem!
i can convert the avi files in dvx and mpeg2 files so they fit on a dvd!!!
long live virtualdub and ImToo Avi Mpeg Converter...
any way next time i will try the bit rate story

You mean you never already had an MPEG2 file? That was your problem then. You just needed to convert to large AVI to an MPEG2 file - which is what DVDs are anyway.

when u have un avi file huge , there are many ways to make it a dvd .
1. just use nero vision will compress uoyr files to a dvd 4.3 gb
2 use windvd creator3 simple to use
try these and good luck
i use these in profesional marrieges and i get fine quality
with files up to 40 gbs

you can use yasa mpeg encoder to convert avi wmv asf mov divx to vob mpeg2 video file. It works like charm.
