I apply any video effect in Premiere Pro to my 320x240 footage (uncompressed, square pixels, AVI captured from a Sony Handycam). I then save it as uncompressed AVI, square pixels. The resultant AVI is half the size of the original? Whats going on? Editing doesnt cause this issue. Are the effects designed to operate on video footage of a certain aspect ratios 4:3 or am I missing something?

SOunds lik eyou may have inadvertently chosen the wrong export options for what you want.

When you say half the size do you mean file size or pixel size of the image?

Either way, it's fixed by choosing the 'correct' export options. Of course, it might take a little trial and erro to find them....

Found the problem. Project was set to full screen PAL, even though I was outputting as 320x240, and the file I opened was 320x240 it seemed to screw it all up.
