Default Another noob question .. about HD

Alright, I have a Sony HVR A1U or whatever (Sony's HD digital camcorder) and Premiere Pro 2.0. I can use the firewire and capture the footage into Premiere, but when it comes time to export, the quality sucks. I have tried around with a few settings and what not, but cannot make any progress. Also, I am opening the project in Sony 1080i 30 (I've tried 25), so that could be a problem too, I guess. If you guys could help me out, that would be great.

Sorry if this has been asked before, but I searched and found nothing on the first few pages. Thanks

I think it could be the setting in which I am capturing, or opening the project in. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

It would be good to know what settings you are using for export.

It might be your settings but it seems to be a common problem. It was covered exstensively in the Adobe forums.
