All 3 have a stronger focus in some area than the other. I'm just wondering what they are.

I have Premiere Pro 2 and After Effects came with it, I've never used After Effects but I guess it's for effects, why do effects in AE and not Premiere?

Adobe Premiere is a 100% non-linear video editng program with effects and transitions added on to spice up your scenes, they'd become boring if all you had access to was the CUT. After Effects on the other hand is a visual effects program, where you can slow video down, speed it up, change colours, do animation, titling, keying, lightling etc etc and all kinds of artsy stuff to keep you amused for years. Elements is a cut down version of Premiere.
