Adobe Premiere Elements.

I want to 'beep out' some swearing on a video clip.

I can position the .wav beep on the second audio track but I don't see a way of dropping the main video linked audio for the fraction of a second required. The only adjustment on the audio seems to be the overall volume for the whole clip.

Does anyone know how I can do this please?

i would use the razor tool and make the word completly go, and then use another track for the beep
