Hello Everyone.
I've acquired adobe after effects and i'm having a little trouble figuring a technique out. I'm almost positive you can do it, and any advice/links/tips would be useful.
I've been editing videos for a little now, and i've been curious about something. What's the easiest way to overlay an image over the actual video. For example, if I wanted to switch my face with a famous artist and have it move with my head, what would I do? Any advice would be most useful. Thanks
Luca

Well it really depends on the face you use to replace yours.
Do you want it to actually move? Is the face actually video footage also?
If it's a photo for the face, the way I would do it is just to track a spot on your head, then use the photo as the object to sit on the tracker.
If it's video footage of a face, you'll have to rotoscope the face of the footage your planning to use, then track your actual head (as above) and put the rotoscoped footage on the tracker!
That's how I would do it both ways, although rotoscoping a famous persons face would be a very long process unless you do it for a second or so and loop the footage
