Default PPro 1.5 problem/question

hey,

I'm using DVR software called intervideo DVR to record to .mpeg

but it seems when I import the video into PPro 1.5,
it ends up lookin crazy and I don't know why.

screen shot:

it looks and plays normal in the preview window
but when I export the video via the adobe video encoder,
it comes out lookin like it does in the timeline video window on the right,

any ideas?

I have Intervideo WinDVD Creator so I don't know if your software has the same facilities as mine but try this anyway, Open up the software and click on the EDIT tab, if you already have a video file there click and drag it onto the box that says 'Drag and drop clip here'. When you do that a button will appear saying SAVE MOVIE click on it, and it will give you two options, select output to file and another window will open, scroll down it to find DV AVI and click on the + plus sign beside it to expand the selection. Click on either NTSC DV II or PAL DV II depending on your tv system. Click on OK and wait for the video to be converted.
